I would not stay here again. The room was dirty, dusty and smelt like old.It seemed that the staff had just washed the sheets and towels. The bedside table was dirty and had crumbs on it, so they obviously hadn't even wiped the surfaces and the window was covered in dust and so was the shower. The light coloured carpet had stains all over it and some of the linen had stains too.It is hard to describe the smell, it was like a mixture of dust, lack of fresh air and mothballs. On the first day, we bought an air freshener to make the room smell better but the smell just kept coming back!The free wifi is non-existent. It would disconnect probably 3 or 4 times per minute when I was connected to it and I tried multiple devices. There was one day when I managed to connect for about 10 minutes! I really do not think wifi should be advertised when it really was terrible.We didn't even see the hosts the whole time (self check in and out) so from the state of the room I'd guess they want the place to manage itself without putting in much effort.

Stayed 1 night on our travels up north. Spotless, lovely comfortable bed and full kitchen facilities. Pet friendly too. We'll be back.

It's a very spacious and museum-like house. It was fun to look around the house and the price was reasonable, so it was good. The kitchen is also very spacious and well-equipped. It was good to have enough refrigerator. The free breakfast was impressive. The room was very spacious and included a bathroom, so I could stay comfortable. The house was very quiet and comfortable. I'll stop by next time I go to Geraldton again!

We stayed in the Regency room (budget room) which was very neat. There was strange fluff on the wall which is very obvious when bedside lamp is on. One of the lamps wasn't working. The bed and bedding was amazingly comfortable. Even though we didn't have an ensuite, the separate bathroom and toilet was clean.

Outstanding, very unique place like a home away from home.If you can live without the pool, you will be very happy. Avoid booking dot com, be patient with Jackie (she doesn't answer phone straight away) and book direct. Not having somebody there to greet you can seem odd but it really doesn't matter because it's a real treat staying there.

Jackie was lovely. Very friendly and welcoming and made after hours checkin very easy.Even offered to drop me back to the airport early in the morning if I couldn’t get a taxi.Looking forward to coming back in a few days.

We had such a good time at the Weelaway House, we absolutely recomend a night or more in this beautiful place. The house is antique, quiet, and the bedrooms very confortable.The lady that works there has the best vibes and she will be nothing but nice and helpful. Also, we loved Mr. Smith and wish we could have played with him a little more.Thank you for everything, see you.

Arrived and total confusion with booked room. Took 3 phone calls and a text message to get hold of anyone. Luckily 1 of the guests had a similar experience and showed us where our room was and how to access the key. The communal fridge was absolutely full with unidentified food and other items so there was no room to put ourselves drinks. Overall, the place could use a lot of maintenance and better reception from the owners.

Was not clean. Dust balls were all up the walls. The ducted vents looked like they hadn't been cleaned in years. Rubbish was still in the bin from the last guest. There was meant to be information left with the key but there was none left. It was a big old house, with large rooms and a lot of lost charm. The WiFi is very poor. Location is fantastic though. Personally the bed was uncomfortable and I woke with a sore back.

Loved our stay at Weelaway House and hearing about the history of the place. Our room was huge with a great ensuite. Kitchen facilities were wonderful and enjoyed relaxing in the common lounge areas. We will definitely stay again!
